Adam Scott is set to star in the forthcoming thriller series Severance, which you can look for over at Apple TV+, reports ComingSoon.net.

We mentioned the casting in an earlier post, and we also mentioned the synopsis for the storyline sounds… troubling. And, we weren’t wrong, based on what’s going on in the new trailer.
To backtrack, Scott plays an office worker whose employer offers him a medical procedure that will separate his work memories from his personal memories.
On one level, people may need help in balancing their work and personal life. And, on the other level, people need all of their thoughts to balance out what’s going on.
We’re kind of suspicious as to why an employer would suggest something so extreme.
And it’s not just us, it comes up in the newly released trailer:

There are a lot of questions floating around. Like, what in the world is going on in that office that the employers don’t want their employees to be able to remember?
The trailer doesn’t tell the entire story, as a good trailer should not, but it seems like we’ll learn more as the nine-part series rolls out, beginning on February 18.
In addition to Scott, you can also look for Patricia Arquette, Christopher Walken and John Turturro.
If this seems freaky and fun at the same time, it may be because Ben Stiller is directing.
He seems to have a twisted sense of humor, based on other projects like 2013’s The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, also starring Scott.
What do you think of the look of this so far?
