WATCH: David Morrissey's 'The Driver' Heading to Acorn TV

We last saw David Morrissey in AMC’s Walking Dead as the Governor, and we can look forward to more Morrissey this coming Monday (April 13) in the BBC miniseries The Driver premiering on Acorn TV.

The title of the series gives us a hint as what to expect: Morrissey is a driver. He's not some wham bam thank you ma'am speed demon like Jason Statham in The Transporter franchise; he's a typical driver to get people from point A to point B. Like many people, he finds himself in a rut and accepts an offer to make some extra quid when approached by a gentleman (Colm Meaney) to be his driver.

Things get a little out of hand as seen in the below trailer:

The three-part series will kick off on Monday, April 13, with the second and third episodes airing the following two Mondays (April 20 and April 27).

What do you think of the first look?
