WATCH: David Tennant Gives Thank You Speech From Set of 'Around the World in 80 Days'

David Tennant (Doctor Who) is currently filming the TV adaptation of Jules Vernes' Around the World in 80 Days. He's set to take on the role of explorer Phileas Fogg for the eight-part series, due out next year.

How do we know all of this? Well, he's on the set... right now. Tennant filmed a little thank you video, addressing Digital Spy for awarding him with Best Male Actor for his role in Des.

In the above video, it seems to all of the sudden click that Tennant might want to explain where he is, saying, "I'm currently in 19th century London, filming Around the World in 80 Days. And that's why I have this delightful mustache."

And, then at the end, he gives a little pep talk, saying, "You'll get to see this (the series) next year. Let's hope 2021 is a little more normal than 2020 has been."

That's an understatement if we've ever heard one.

The clip is quite cute and we love seeing Tennant's already iconic hair whipped up into a 19th century do.

There's quite a lot going on in one space, what stands out to you?
