Jason Isaacs (The OA) is set to star in the forthcoming action-thriller Skyfire. The new trailer just released and it looks a little bit like Westworld meets Jurassic Park. We shall elaborate...

The story is set on Tianhuo Island, which is just as beautiful as it is dangerous, located in the Pacific Rim volcanic belt, aka "Ring of Fire." The owner of the island, Jack Harris (Isaacs), has used this to his advantage, setting up an amusement park and resort around a dormant volcano.

When the mountain starts to wake up and the once dormant volcano becomes not-so-dormant, we hear Harris exclaim in the new trailer, "We're all going to be fine!!"

We have a feeling that's not quite true:

The story is co-written by Wei Bu and Sidney King (Pearl Diver), with Simon West (The Mechanic) set to direct. In addition to Isaacs, you can look for Hannah Quinlivan (Moon River) as a scientist who tries to avoid all of this devastation.
