WATCH: Nick Offerman Stars in Teaser Clip for Sci-Fi Miniseries 'Devs'

Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation) is set to star in the forthcoming sci-fi miniseries Devs, created by Ex Machina's Alex Gardner, reports ComingSoon.net.

The story revolves around a young computer engineer (Crazy Rich Asisan's Sonoya Mizuno), whose boyfriend has been murdered. She believes the development division of her company may have something to do with it. Offerman portrays the CEO of the company, a man named Forest, who is obsessed with the "covert work of the company's development division."

The description is pretty vague. And, so is the teaser trailer. But we'll say... it's intriguing.

You can barely make out Offerman in the above, as it's dark and the first look is quick (by the way, he's the one on the left under the green ring, opposite Mizuno under the red ring).

With that being said, Entertainment Weekly released some stills just last week, which may (or may not) help fill in the blanks:

In addition to Offerman and Mizuno, you can also look for Alison Pill (The Newsroom), Zach Grenier (Ray Donovan), Jin Ha (Hot Air), Stephen McKinley Henderson (Fences) and Cailee Spaeny (Pacific Rim: Uprising).

The eight-part series will premiere on Netflix in 2020.

Do you think Forest is a good guy or baddie??
