We can look for Ralph Fiennes in the upcoming Netflix movie The Dig, premiering on January 29. The historical drama follows architect Basil Brown (Fiennes) who is invited by landowner Edith Pretty (Carey Mulligan) to look into some finds.

In the new trailer, Brown asks Pretty why she didn't call on the museum folks. England is about to enter World War II and this isn't high on their list of priorities. But, when Brown unearths what might be a Viking ship and the treasure that comes along with such a vessel, it does get their attention:

As expected, rather than celebrating the find and using it to learn, people begin to squabble over ownership.

But, we do see a very sweet moment, of a little boy standing in the excavated bones of the ship and playing captain. He humanizes the moment, reminding us what it's all about... an exploration of history.

In addition to Fiennes and Mulligan, we can also look for Lily James, Johnny Flynn and Ben Chaplin.
