WATCH: Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon Take a 'Trip to Greece' in New Trailer
While we can't go overseas at the moment, maybe some armchair travel will do the trick. Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon have already teamed up for travel movies like 2010's The Trip, 2014's The Trip to Italy and 2017's The Trip to Spain.
Now these two are heading to Greece, and the movie will be available via VOD on May 22.
Coogan and Brydon play fictionalized versions of themselves. In the latest installment of this series, and the final, the gents follow the saga of Odysseus, who took ten years to travel from Troy to Greece.
Coogan and Brydon only have six days. And like the Greek philosophers (way) before them, they argue about things like tragedy and comedy, astronomy and biology, myth, history, democracy and the meaning of life:

They also argue, just for the sake of arguing, with Coogan saying to Brydon, "You are exhausting." Brydon snaps back, "Good God, you should meet you." Touché! We hope they actually make it to Greece.
The movie is directed by Michael Winterbottom, who also worked with Coogan on 2019's Greed. The Trip to Greece has already aired in the U.K. as a six-part series and is being reconfigured into a feature-length film for the U.S.
