WATCH: Things Get Ultra Creepy in 'Dublin Murders' Trailer
In the forthcoming TV series Dublin Murders, a child is found dead on an ancient stone altar in the woods. According to the just released trailer (July 3), there was a similar case a while back, with a TV newscaster announcing, "Twenty-one years ago, three children went missing from the woods."
It's not clear if the disturbing crimes are linked, but all leads are being investigated:

Killian Scott (C.B. Strike) and Sarah Greene (Penny Dreadful) play the lead detectives searching for answers. Scott's character detective Rob Reilly says in the above trailer, "You always think that the ones who get away are the lucky ones. If someone still clings to life... think... lucky. But what if they kill the lucky ones?"
We did mention this is creepy...
The Dublin Murders is based on author Tana French's crime novel series Dublin Murder Squad, with the TV series pulling material from the first two books, In the Woods and The Likeness.
The eight-part series is a co-production with BBC ONE and RTÉ in the U.K., with support from Northern Ireland Screen. The Dublin Murders is set to air on Starz in the U.S. You can look for the series this fall.
