WATCH: Timothy Spall and Sam Claflin Star in 'The Corrupted' Trailer
Timothy Spall (Hatton Garden) and Sam Claflin (Me Before You) team up for the crime-thriller The Corrupted. Claflin plays an ex-con, Liam, who is seeking redemption. He wants to stay out of trouble and do right by his family.
In the recently released clip, we see Liam approached by a corrupt property developer, Clifford Cullen (Spall), about a business opportunity. But, Cullen is a little rude about it, saying Liam is clearly short on money. Broke or not, Liam doesn't accept the handout:

Good for Liam, he avoided a pitfall. But, it appears his plan of staying on the straight and narrow is short-lived, when his brother (Joe Claflin) gets mixed up with Cullen. Liam can't avoid this situation and is compelled to save his brother from harm's way.
In addition to Spall and the Claflin brothers, we can also look for Hugh Bonneville (Downton Abbey), Charlie Murphy (Peaky Blinders) and Noel Clarke (Bulletproof). The Corrupted hits theaters on January 10.
Are you looking forward to seeing more of Timothy Spall up on the big screen?
